Located just 20 minutes north of The Hotel Saugatuck in the quaint town of Holland, this open-air European-style Christmas market runs over multiple weekends leading up to Christmas. Eighteen wooden booths line the 8th Street Marketplace, showcasing the handcrafted items of talented vendors. With everything from soaps to wreaths to scarves, you're sure to find the perfect fine-quality gift! The Kerstmarkt, now in its 25th year, is a tradition brought over from the Netherlands. It provides a delightful, festive venue for local artisans to introduce their craft to shoppers who gather to enjoy delicious food and drink, skillfully made treasures, and artisan demonstrations.

Browse more than 35 local crafters, growers, and producers in the Outdoor Plaza at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts here in Saugatuck. Before you begin shopping, grab a craft cocktail or hot toddy to warm you from the inside. These are a few of our favorite things, and you can find them (and more) at the Outdoor Holiday Market on Dec. 4, at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Forty art and fine-craft vendors will display their locally produced goods at the Outdoor Plaza and Pavilion. While you shop, enjoy a specialty holiday beverage from the bar and food from local vendors. Live bands will perform holiday favorites on the outdoor stage, setting the festive mood as you tackle your holiday shopping list.
